Now in my late 40's with two teens. I was a runner in High School and early College but that was a long time ago. Trying to get back to a healthy weight for myself and my kids. If for no better reason than to just keep up with them.
When you are an athelete in school and fall off the wagon it can be difficult to retrain yourself on how to get bank into shape. Fitness has come a long way and there are many great ways to lose the weight and become healthy if you are in the correct frame of mind.
I believe if you are sensible 90% of the time there is still 10% of the time you can eat what you want and not feel guilty. The key has always been moderation as some things never change. Eating is all about good habits and behaviors. It is easy to develop bad habits but if you put your mind to something it can be done. It's never too late.
I'm back after having success in 2010. I need to lose a bit more weight now and while I'm active at least 3 days of the week with exercise, I need to be more active and have better dicipline with my diet. Here we go, wish me luck!
