This is going to be interesting week. I've been eating more than usual because of my hydration problem and racing. Even though I've gained a lot recently I've got a 6hr race coming up on Saturday so want to make sure my fat stores are in good shape. M

Glad the holidays are over and can get back on track. Back to work tomorrow. Did a short 5 mile new years day run with my trail group, Felt great. 1 hour workout at the gym afterwards. Ok 170's here I come.

Decided to have a day off - I splurged and yes I feel bad. I also overdosed on watching movies in my home theater. I did play 2 hours of racquetball but didn't make up for all the junk I ate. Wow I'm glad I got that out of my system. Goodbye 2013.

Yesterday went to the gym and did speedwork for 1 hour. Also ran the stairs with weights for 30 minutes. I feel good today and no adverse effects from yesterday's exercise. First time I've done 100m sprints in a long time. I've been running trails for so long forgot what fun short speed workouts can be. I think I will go back again today.

After all the water I drank yesterday was scared to step on the scales today. I did and only went up 1 lb. You would think with my name it would be a no brainer to drink water!
