Here's the deal. I live in the Philippines and I cant avoid white rice. so I limit my rice intake to 1/2 a cup or less (that's only 121 calories). Also, I try to eat rice once or twice a day.
I have been taking baby steps to cleaning and building up my nutrition plan... for example, my breakfast includes a serving of Quaker oatmeal, a fruit portion and warm water. My post-workout meal is a cup of low-fat milk and a fruit portion. My next meals throughout the day, I play it by ear... that's where I am wrong because I know I should plan my meals in advance so as not to fall of the precarious ledge of good nutrition.

I'm reading all about the Abs diet and i'm thinking of following it because no matter how much I workout in the gym, it will be useless if I dont clean up my diet and normalize my nutrition.

Last night, I decided to move my work outs in the morning and to do additional sets because; one, i have read so many fitness gurus and trainers advice that the best time for exercise is in the morning where something about your insulin and glucagon levels are concerned and two, i added additional sets because i felt i wasn't doing enough in the gym. :)

I religiously counted my carbs with fatsecret.com calorie counter... Its very crucial not to cheat on my diet this early in my journey to transform my body... I'm very pleased to lose 2lbs in a week...
