I am middle aged, living in mild-weathered California, my home state. Make my living as an office worker and have for 40+ years. Tired of working, really. Have a home and my best friend is my husband who is a great partner. No kids. Inherited a dog when mother-in-law moved in May 2014. Made it feel like we are a family here. Now she's gone to assisted living but the dog is still with us. We take him to visit a few times every week. Now if I can just get a handle on my eating...
