I am finally getting myself back on track and eating right. I am now (gulp) 38 and in dire need of losing 80lbs. I lost the weight when I was in my senior year at vet school and kept it off for 3-4 years, but when I lost my job and my life turned upside down, I slowly put the weight back on. I just want to be healthy again...

Houmous
I'll agree that the Moosewood cookbook version is great, although I haven't made it for years. It is a very simple recipe, you just need a food processor. I have also tried the Trader Joe's Hummus (they have many versions) and most of them are good.

Wii Fit
Yeah, I would like it if they had a full workout program, such as a 20 minute yoga or something like that where you did not have to pick everything individually or does that happen later when you unlock everything?

Wii Fit
Glad to see that other people are having fun with the Wii Fit. I am still trying to unlock all the games (for those who haven't used one yet, the more you use it the, the more games are unlocked and available to play). I finally got my Wii age below my true age yesterday which made me feel great! Although my balance is still horrible and I can't believe that I can't stand on one leg for any length of time! Baby steps...

PHASE 1 - LONGER THAN 2 WEEKS?
I read some info on extending phase one longer. There is a lot of info on the SBD message boards. The link below is for the phase 1 discussion and seems helpful (hopefully I coppied it correctlySmile.

Wii Fit
Anyone else out there using their Wii Fit? I am having a lot of fun, esp. with the hula hoop! You look like a fool doing it but break a good sweat. It does keep track of your weight and progress, but on the down side (or up side, not really sure which) it tells you how obese, uncoordinated, and weak you are. I like the fact that you can challenge yourself, and it records you so you can know when you are improving. I want to see my Wii me (oh and the real me) get thinner and healthierSmile
