I am a 53 year old mother of four and grandmother of three, I have one sister and two brothers, my sister a year younger than myself has always been thin, I was plump but was always made to feel fat, I have one thin brother and one plump brother. Being the older and a girl I had to be responsible for the cooking and cleaning and looking after the younger ones. I grew to love cooking and baking, my dad use to praise my cooking and that made me feel proud so I began to enjoy food. So as I got older if there were any problems in my life or if I was board I would eat to make myself happy, then I would diet and lose weight and everyone will say how good I look and I will feel on top of the world, and then I will put it all back on and more that is how I spent most of my life but now my health has become a factor so I need to lose the weight and keep it off.
