I am 34 years old, a new mother, full time career woman and struggling to lose weight. I gave birth to my darling son in January. I've lost all but 7 Lbs of the pregnancy weight but need to lose an additional 15Lbs to get to a point where i'm happy, which is at around 135Lbs.
I was at the 135Lb range about 3 years ago, when i met my husband. After we started seeing each other, I fell into his eating habits. I am not blaming him because I'm responsible for what i put in my mouth but it is so difficult when he eats cookies, chips, chocolates, etc.
So...during the pregnancy we both gained some weight. After the pregnancy, i got us both following a diet and he has lost 40Lbs while i've only lost about 10Lbs. Typical. He is no longer dieting because he's happy with his weight. He's sort of maintaining. As for me, i'm still struggling.
I will not give up. I will attain my goal. Here's how i have broken it down...
First Goal - Lose 5Lbs by June 26th
Second Goal - Lose 5Lbs by July 26th and learn to maintain 1200 calorie days
Third Goal - Lose 5Lbs by August 26th
Target - Be at 137Lbs by September 26th
Looks realistic and attainable right? Right. I can do it! I will do it!!
