Hi there. I guess my story is that I never learned how to eat properly. At the age of 33 I was at my all time high weight of 276 pounds. I have struggled each and every day of the past 12 years to lose over a hundred pounds and keep it off. I had attempted to do Atkins a couple of times in the past only to be dissapointed. I finally have figured out, that I was my own worst enemy. After years of low fat, low calorie dieting being drilled into my very being, I just could not wrap my head around eating fat and calories. I was attempting to eat 1100 calories and a minimal amount of fat. I finally saw the 60/30/10 ratio on a blog and a light bulb went off in my head! Im hoping to finally achieve my goal weight of 138 -140 pounds healthy and satisfied with what I eat! Wish me luck!
