I am 28 year old woman, and I live in Georgia. I have an awesome 3 year old son that has Autism Spectrum Disorder, and I stay at home with him. (Well, he just started school, but I am his primary care taker) I have BATTLED my weight my whole life, in fact I started writing in my diary at 7 years old that my biggest goal was to lose weight. (I am sure that it was because of my family's influence/comments) I have lost weight in the past and felt great, but it all came back plus some because I never faced the true problem beneath the eating. Eating is just a symptom. Its NEVER about the food. SO, after getting really honest with myself, and a REALITY check (scare with Diabetes), I have made a decision that this time I am not going to diet, this is going to be a life change. Diets do NOT work. They are only temporary. I am no longer going to battle myself and have a love hate relationship with food. I am going to treat myself better because I am good enough to treat my body with kindness. I want and deserve to be healthy and it all starts with what I put in my body. I am too young to be on blood pressure medicine! No more! I can do this! I am WORTH it! My family is worth it!
