Hi, I'm 42 years old. My family & friends are a very important part of my life & I do my best to make sure they know! I love the Lord with all my heart & am very thankful for the forgiveness given to me through Christ's death and resurrection. I've been happily married to Ron for 8 years. My son Jason who is 24 yrs old popped the question at midnight on New Years and I think we are having a May wedding! I love the girlfriend Melissa.I have a beautiful stepdaughter, Amanda-who is 25 and was married 10/4/08 to a great guy named Joe, and they got pregnant on their honeymoon!! Josh, is my stepson and is 22 and we do not see him often enough. Ron & I have two dogs, Buddy & Go-go who are keeping us entertained until the grandchildren start rolling in (which is now sooner than we realized) :)
My husband & I spend most all of our time (outside of work) together, unless Im out shopping with my mom & Melissa, which is one of my favorite things to do…or if I'm out with my best friends for a girls night out which usually includes dinner out and shopping at Target.

I like eating out, going to movies, computer games & am a huge football fan..Or course I'm a Titans fan since I'm in TN, but I have been a football fan of all teams since I can remember. I think I must have gotten that from my dad, even though we were never very close. He passed away in 1999 from Cancer.
I also love to travel...but I can't seem to make a decision on what to do for vacation this year.
..and then there is food!! I love food and love to eat..I know what I have to do to lose the weight, but I really have to get my mind right before I am able to do it..Once my mind is made up I can usually lose the weight needed, but I can NEVER keep it off..I hope to finally be able to lose down to my goal weight & keep it off this time..It sure gets harder to lose after 40.
I'm so glad a friend from work told me about this site..I think it is awesome! Very easy to use and the calorie search is amazing!!

diet problems!!
I know this might sound silly but if you don't have kids maybe you could try going to bed earlier..If you're sleeping you can't be snacking Smile

Or for a snack, try a dill pickle..that has always worked for my husband when he is dieting..However, Im not a pickle fan. I usually tell myself that I can't eat after a certain time (6pm) which I follow pretty well once I've made my mind up that that is what I'm going to do..
