I am a 61 yo x-restauranteur, semi retired to a desk job for the past few years. I have been as heavy as 327.5 lbs. I have been able to loose some weight with the help of my beautiful wife who lost 50 lbs herself on WW counting points. What it taught us was portion control. However I am now stuck at this unhealthy plateau, and want to continue losing weight until I reach my goal weight. (hopefully before I die). I know that I would not have been able to loose an ounce with out the help from my wife, so by joining this support group I hope to continue on a healthy path to a better lifestyle. It takes daily encouragement and reminders to stay focused. I am here for anyone who needs help, as I will be asking you the same. Don't be afraid to show a little "tough love" as that helps me when I stray.. Good luck and remember. Everything and anything is ok in moderation. I grew up being told not to waste anything, in an Italian family that spent most of their time in the kitchen and around the dinning room table, so I know how hard it can be..
