performance: losing 0.1 lb a week
I am 54 with 24 year old triplets, one girl, two boys. I have worked out since I was 20, either jogging or aerobics, 5 days per week. Since the triplets, I have been unable to lose the last 10 lbs and I think it is due to extra skin and fat in my abdomen area.
I am trying to come to grips with my abdomen and the fact that with my aging, I am unable to do the higher intensity workouts I have done in the past without dealing with pain and injuries.
Acceptance has never come easy as I was teased all through school because I was overweight. I lost a lot of weight in my Junior year, but still have a chubby girl inside me.
So, I am trying to learn to accept myself...love myself and come to peace with this aging body. Along with all this, I am trying to come to terms with the fact that I have to watch what I eat and be more healthy with my vices, smoking, chocolate and coffee.
So I have found fat secret...hoping it is a tool to help with maybe losing a few more of those last 10 and becoming more aware of what I put in my mouth. Probably need counseling to come to terms with the rest LOL
