I am an Attorney and an RN in Massachusetts. I typically do not get a lot of exercise (I should change that). I do get out dancing about once every 2 weeks. I have insulin resistance/type 2 DM which I have been able to control with diet and medication. I had a lap band placed about 6 years ago; which I keep barely filled. I originally lost 50-60 pounds after my lap band, but I struggle with going up and down on the 15 pounds between 185 and 200#. I am hoping this time to break out and get down to my long term goal of 140-150 (and hopefully come off the medication and have normal BS).
