I'm 54 yrs old (55 in February) I'm 100 lbs overweight mostly due to a very stressful job, high blood pressure and unsupportive marriage partner. I have no friends and my relatives don't really visit either. Just got laid off after 9 yrs. My husband is also laid off. I just restarted Atkins on January 4 and have lost 11 lbs. This is my second time on Atkins. My first time was 5 yrs ago and the weight melted off.I lost 68 lbs and felt great. Now I'm struggling with losing 1-2 lbs a week.I've just been put on High Blood Pressure medication and it's not really working. Never had BP problems in my life. My cholesterol level is okay. I am on the border for Diabetes if I continue my path of destruction. I walk daily (weather permitting)with my little dog Chuckie usually about 1.5 miles.
