My name is Lauren. I have been overweight all my life. I was overweight in High School but always very active and I could still run a mile with the best of them. When I finished school my activity levels dropped dramatically and I gained even more weight. It doesn't help that I have a desk job in an office that enjoys many potlucks and brining in food on a regular basis. This is great for somebody that doesn't have issues with food but for me it's hard. I have tried multiple diets in the past but have not been successful for very long. And as is normal every time I lost weight and then fell off the wagon, I gained even more weight back. It's a vicious cycle. But I have to say that in the past I wasn't committed to losing the weight for myself but for multiple other reasons. I feel better about working on myself now. I want to lose weight for myself. I want to feel better and do the things I used to do. I want to be a better, healthier version of myself.
