Here is a quick about me: Between 2004 and 2008 I lost 110lbs. In 2010 I quit my dead end retail job and got a job at an insurance company in New York. After a year there my boyfriend and I decided to move in together after two years of doing long distance. I moved to Connecticut and got a part-time retail job. Last week I accepted a job at another insurance company and am currently in the process of getting my insurance license in CT. The stress of moving and leaving my old life has been hard. I need to get rid of this extra weight. I feel tired all the time and my jeans are getting way too tight for my liking. So, here we go again. I'm hoping to lose 40lbs before my 27th birthday. I know I can do it. I've done it before. I just need to find that motivation to succeed and hopefully, this support site will do the trick :) Happy losing, everyone!

How do you adjust to a new life?
I didn't see these replies until tonight. Thank you for all of the wonderful advice you have all given me. It's truly helpful and inspirational.
You'd be happy to know that I've finally found my niche again! The fridge is packed with vegetables, my fruit bowl if plentiful and even my boyfriend has jumped on the band wagon! We've been eating healthy together and even working out together! Things are going wonderfully.
Again, thank you so much for all of your wisdom. You know.. I've been here in the past. I have all the knowledge to make this work so, I'm going to do it again..

How do you adjust to a new life?
Hey all. I'm in need of some advise. In the past I have had success with dieting. I lost 110lbs and felt great. Unfortunately, I've packed on about thirty pounds since then and I want it *gone*. I've had a lot of changes in my life since then. I ended a four year relationship, met a guy who lived in another state through an online website, left my retail job for an insurance job, left that job to move in with my boyfriend in Connecticut a couple of months ago and am now studying to get my insurance license in this state. When life keeps moving and seems relentless to let you breathe, how do you manage to keep your hand out of the cookie jar when times seem so stressful? I'm a creature of routine and when something changes it's really hard for me to adjust. Help Sad
