I'm a wife of a wonderful husband & mother to three children. I'm in a health profession, ironically, which makes my journey even more frustrating. I want to lose 40lbs, but more than just weight loss, I want to be healthy again. I want to go to the beach with my family & enjoy simple things in life without the constant thought of how overweight I am. My weight has fluctuated since childhood. But I was healthiest & happiest when I was on a good path of regular jogging. Now that I'm older it's harder to find consistency. I started with this site last year in hopes it would help keep me accountable. I found I stopped recording even though I lost 15lbs before I went back up. Something about that mark... Anyway, I've gained it all back plus 4 more. Back to the beginning, back to a New Year & a fresh start!
