Hi, I M Leon Sabol. I am 72 years old. I retired from the US Navy then due to health problems, I true tired on Social Secutity. While I served during periods of conflict, I have never been in war conditionsI have an arthritic back, which allows mt t only walk short distances, I use a walker and a scooter t get around. All of my doctors want me to loose weight - so here I am. I loose about ten to fifteen pound, then in a month or two - Iamright back to where I started. I count calories, and try to sty within my allotted calorie intake.
The first two days have been fair - but then I am all hyped up. Let us see what the future brings

Bad Day

Are you eating nutrient dense foods during the day? If not your body may be telling you it needs nourishment in the form of proteins, veggies, complex carbs. Also as mummydee said there is exercise most any one can do. See if your doc can give you a physical therapy and nutrition consultations to help guide you.

What do you mean by - nutrient dense foods?.I am fighting off a cold, or the flu. Have been taking anti-biotics for a few days, but still feel like crap. Have been looking at some of the exercise programs on TV. I think I can modify some of them so that I will have an aerobic upper body exercise. Will have to wait until I get better.

Garcinia Cambogia

Scientific evidence? By who? probably the so called scientists that work for the company that produces the products.

People did lose with the HCG drops but was it the drops? or was it the fact that they also had to follow a 500 cal a day diet?

and once again, when you reach your goal weight and stop the drops and go back to your normal calorie intake, back on will come the lbs and then some.
Thank you for the information.

Yes, that's what I think too, although there is scientific evidence to suggest that the HCA does help you to shed weight. When I used Garcinia, I found that I did lose weight, but I put that more down to the fact that I believed I was going to lose weight with the help of the supplement. I'm still sKeptical that it works in any other way.
Thank you for the feed back

Green Tea

Green Tea is excellent for your health and there's another tea out from Africa called Rooibos. It's my new favourite, 0 caffeine and very low in tannins. Google it and see all the wonderful health benefits.

Hey -Hello -
Thanks for the info. I started drinking tea a few months ago. I had to quit drinking coffee due to health problems. Like you, I have a favorite - it is blended by a local shop - it is Baron's Luxury Tea, it is called "Baron' Special Blend." I did try some of the Rooibos earlier today. My wife got some at our local Publix. It is good. Mighty Leaf has an assortment of various green, and white tea's in a package. I am sampling them now. If you are interested, I can forward you the E-mail addresses of either place.
