I'm in my early 50's, and need to lose around 20 lbs or 10 kgs ... I'm interested in a high fibre 5:2 diet, altho strict adherence is not a priority as I have to cook for the family. I gave up alcohol last week, and need to improve my blood lipid profile.

Saturated Fat -24 grams.
Sugars - 90 grams.
Sodium - 2,300 milligrams.
Protein - 50 grams.
Carbohydrates -Eat grain-based foods (wholegrain or high in fibre) - 310 grams.
