I went out of town for the weekend and had so much fun. My diet went completely out the window, and I have no regrets. I'm starting all over, so today is yet another new day

I feel the need to back away. This dieting thing is driving me crazy. I've been on Atkins for over 3 months and I've been stalled for about 2. No matter what I do, nothing seems to work. I've done strict Induction, the meat fast, the fat fast, and nothing. Yet the first time I did Atkins I lost 60lbs in 3 months. Not that I want it to go as fast this time, but gaininng? That just doesn't seem right.
I guess I should've paid attention when everyone told me to get my weight under control while I was in my 20s because it would be so hard in my 30's. Thats what I get for being so stubborn smh
For the next week or so I plan to just eat normally. I will continue to exercise, because even without loosing weight or inches, the exercise does make me feel so much better. I also plan on finishing my smoking book because that is also something that needs to end. No sugary drinks and only healthy carbs. But i'm done counting and weighing. I'm done stressing and trying to figure out whichn are good fats and bad, which veggies i'm allowed, whole grain vs wheat....blah blah blah
I purchased Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution. After my break I will begin again. I've been doing Atkins strictly from memory from when I did the diet 10+ yrs ago. Its quite possible I'm remembering some things wrong.
I'll be back in a week or two (after I read nthe WHOLE book)
I know I can do this. It took me years to put all this weight on. I can't expect it all to come off in a few months.

I've only been up for an hour and today is already better than yesterday. I think I figured out what I was doing wrong....thank goodness cuz i was about to give up.

No exercise over the weekend. But TOM kicked my *ss. I didn't even think I was capable of jogging for 5 minutes, but I pushed myself to 8. I stepped for 20 minutes and boxed for 15. I also walked to the supermarkete instead of taking the bus (well part of the way) another 15 minutes of activity. May not sound like much, but for me, this is tremendous. Not having to change my clothes, go outside, get to the gym nor having to socialize makes it so much easier. They said the novelty would wear off, but I'm still in love with the Wii!!!!!!
