I'm 24 years old [as of typing this], and throughout almost all my life I've had weight and body image issues. When I was around 12-14 was the last time I would have considered myself "thin", and that was due to having had my final growth spurt + a rampant eating disorder.

Since recovering from said ED, I've had a problem with my stomach not communicating properly with my brain like it's supposed to. This will lead to me not eating all day, not from choice but just being busy with other things and my brain not registering that I'm hungry and I should eat until I look at a clock and realize when the last time I ate was.

On the other end, it also doesn't bother to tell me when I'm full, resulting in over consumption on the occasions I don't make a conscious decision to portion control.

I created this account in an attempt to properly monitor my food, to help remind me to eat and how much I should eat, with the addition of hoping to at least near the range of "healthy weight" for my height.

An additional problem I believe I suffer from is PCOS, though I haven't been able to find a doctor that will go through with my requests to test the issue to see for sure. I know that that can also cause women's weight and consumption to be a bit sporadic .

I'm not very public with my goings on but hopefully I will warm up to the idea of actually posting more. Mostly this is just to help me go through some rounds of self improvement.
