Hi! I am a single mom of a 4 1/2 year old and from just outside Boston. I am not-so-slowly approaching my 30th birthday and want to do so in shape and fabulous!

My goal in life before I had my son was to be in Playboy, (insert eye roll here) and back then I had the body to do it! Now I am disgusted by myself, and have had many medical and emotional set backs.

I have an area I refer to as my "fanny pack" on my stomach that disgusts me above my c-section scar that I was to obliterate, and I am doing Weight Watchers to get healthy and learn to eat better and in moderation.

I have "lost" the self confidence and self-esteem I once had about myself and would love that back. I would love to again be able to go out in public without constantly readjusting my clothes or sucking in my stomach.

I want my son to have a mom to look up to as a confident and vibrant mom, the woman I was before I had him, so he can grow up to be proud of who he is and learn healthy habits from watching me.

The pike crunch is when you lie on the floor, legs out, and arms straight up above your head (all on the floor)

Then you bring your legs straight up and your arms straight up like you're folding yourself in half.

Then back down. It was on something I found from Jillian on the biggest loser on YouTube.

I'm obsessed. My friend has quit her gym membership and only does Zumba. She has lost 25lbs. The instructor once weighed over 200lbs and is now tiny! She shed the "bulk" weight with Zumba and then toned with a trainer. I am only doing it 2 days a week, but at 1000 calories an hour, how can you beat it?

It's my 30th birthday today and im feeling like a big bag of poop!
Happy B-day! I will join you in a month, and I am still in shock it has come so quick!! NO worries, 30 is the new 20!!
