I work full time. I have been married for the past 3 years. I have struggled with my weight all my life. Unfortunately, after marriage I continued to gain a lot of weight. I have PCOS, which seems to cause difficulty losing weight. I am ready to finally reach my goal weight.

Do you work from home?
I worked at home for a while, but nothing I did is really worth quitting a good job for. I would sign up for online offers and click on ads to get paid. The money is ok!

First Plateau, very depressed. :(
I lost 5 lbs back in feb and then I was at a plateau, couldn't lose anything. I had cut down what I was eating, running 15 miles a week and was making healthier choices. I decided at the end of April I need to do something diff. I changed my workout. I found one in prevention magazine I liked and I started doing that. I lost 5 lbs. After a while I started gaining weight. I couldn't do the excerises 6 days a week b/c it was too stressful on my body, I couldn't walk without my legs shaking. So this month I signed up at curves and thus far I have lost another few lbs. I remember when I was signed up at a gym they would change my workout routine every 6 to 8 weeks. The point of that was b/c your body gets used to the workouts you are doing. Basically every month or two if you change it up, you work new muscles, in new ways and it keeps the weight loss process going on. When your body gets used to doing the same thing, then you can't lose anymore weight. I think that is why curves is only good for about 6 months then after that it is just for maintaining your weight. I hope this helps!

30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels
I have not seen this before now. I just check it out on youtube. It looks awesome! I will probably start up on it in 2 weeks. I am doing a 30 day fitness study at curves. I have 2 weeks left. I don't want to mix all these things at the same time, I want to see if curves is worth the money. After I do my weigh in I will probably attempt this and report back!

I HATE THE SCALE
I know what you are going through. I spent the past 2 months maintaining a 5 lb lose. I can't understand why I wasn't losing weight. I excerised 5 days a week - 15 miles a week. I drink 8 to 10 cups of water and I was cutting down food consumption. I lost a few more lbs and now I am gaining again and once again I am still not sure what is wrong. I am looking at calorie intake and trying to maintain a calorie intake at about 1200. I weigh myself daily though because I like to know what affects my body. Like if you don't drink 8 glasses of water there is a 2 lb weight loss that happens ( or at least with me) I don't recommend you do that, but I like noticing these things. I know that if I lost 2 lbs or even 1 lb over night and I gain it the next day it is most likely due to water. Also, a few times I have weighed myself b4 and after work outs. I think because I was weighing myself daily I was aware of what I was eating there for I did better at losing a few lbs a week. But now that I am not doing it as much I am not paying attention as much. I do recommend u cut down on juices/sodas. I stopped drinking soda and lost 20 lbs. I have since gained it back from other things but still it works. Also, I have stopped juices for the most part and I think it is helping out!

Diet Buddies
Hi,
I just joined last week and would also lovea diet buddy. I have 54 lbs to lose. I am losing weight because I have PCOS. I want to get preg. and I was told that if I lose weight it might help. I have been wanting to lose weight for years, but apparently not being able to get preg. has been the push I needed to start.
