Unbeatable bean soup
Ingredients
Directions
- Soak dry beans overnight in cold water. Drain the following morning and put in a large pot. Add 2 litres of the boiling water, place lid on top and cook until soft.
- Cook the meat and onion with the other 1 litre boiling water in a pressure cooker (if you have one) until soft. Remove bones and cut meat in pieces.
- Add the meat, meat sauce and beef cube to the beans.
- Mix tomato paste, gravy powder and Worcestershire sauce. Add to the soup.
- Add salt and pepper to taste and let it cook through. Serve hot.
