ok, up two pounds after 10 days of vacation! ouch!! Once I was back in the states I went back to portion control and home preparations, so I am back in ketosis (yeah) and back to my normal routine. I did really well controlling my choices while away, but apparently there are alot of hidden carbs in commercially prepared foods while eating out. It does bug me, but - I am grateful it is not any worse. Had a fabulous time w/ my family - was true to myself - as much as I knew to do, I did, and I will just have to suck it up and re-lose these two pounds. At least I know I tried my best - didn't give in to massive temptations - yes, I did probably over eat in regards to some veggie portions, but I didn't eat the wrong foods for me. And often I couldn't get enough water in...aaaggghhh!
163.0 lb Lost so far: 42.0 lb.    Still to go: 28.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Yeah, it could have been a lot of things: not enough water, too many veggies, traveling - who knows. But your back at it after having a good time. The weight will come right back off.

I think that only gaining 2 lbs. after 10 days of not having total control over your food is great! I have a hard time keeping everything straight with the computer to rely on and total control over my food and water choices (well maybe not total control)...You will lose the 2 lbs. easily once you are back to your usual routine.

The doc directed me to a specialist (oh boy, do I hate this yuck) but I dont know, I guess my cheating episode is to blame for the mess. Lets see :)

Welcome back. I think you did well to stay true as possible. That 2 lbs will come off this week!

Back down the two pounds...I knew it was water weight. After awhile you can tell. Plus flying always causes me to retain...and my ankles were puffy a little when I got home from our flight. So this morning - back to where I was when I left! YEAH!! (I only post my weight once a week - so it'll show when I do my next weigh in.) Thanks for the LOVE!
