I usually see people recommend 10-35% of calories should be in proteins. Are you aiming for something specific?

I'm a former vegetarian. As far as I know, foods like nuts, edamame, green peas, and soybean products contain a considerable amount of protein. I recommend you keep watch of vitamin B12 as well. B12 deficiency might cause you to lose hair or have undesirable skin condition. I hope this helps.

Can you drink milk? I also have trouble getting enough protein and I'm NOT a vegetarian. But if I have 8 oz of skim milk that's 8 grams of protein. I also started putting 2 or 3 tablespoons or maybe 1/4 cup of kidney beans in whatever I'm eating - adding them to salads or stir fry, I even added them to split pea soup. I try to get 40-60 grams of protein a day.

Lentils, black beans, split peas and many more all have high protein, you can make soups and salads.

Broccoli!! And pea protein. Tofu, adding nut butters, hemp milk... on Pinterest there are always images of protein rich sources for vegans that are Whole Foods, nothing crazy and processed!

Well, you can always just eat meat! Lol but seriously, that’s one downside for people who choose a vegetarian/vegan diet/lifestyle, protein foods are in smaller quantities. But fear not! For they have various protein powders and supplements that can get you your protein requirements, and they also have plant based protein as well. Would be the simpler options, but the choice is up to you how you choose to get in your protein.
