Penlan's Journal, 13 April 2016

Well!

That was rather a shock I have to say - another drop to 67.4 so soon. I didn't even knock anything off for the 450ml cuppa I had just before stepping on the scales. You never know, I might have been a tad dehydrated, I didn't drink more than 150ml or so in the night, which is unusual for me.

After sleeping like the proverbial log, in two bites, I think I may be getting near to catching up on overdue sleep at last.

A sunny day, I would rather be in the garden, but have to be inside getting ready for my annual show. With recent events there is no slack.

Oh well.

Lily came to the trough yesterday, didn't eat, but coming to the trough with the others is a positive move. We will try and move them to the top field now where there is a small bite, it's been ungrazed all winter. She has to be able to walk up that far. We'll see.

Anyway, it's all good I reckon, so far.....

Brilliant loss. Very well done. Told you 68 was gone for good. Give my regards to Lily next time you see her.

Thanks Jocko, I just moved them with the old ladies up to the top field where there is lush Spring grass. Not that she or Lucy need it, they are already so fat. I was ready with an anti-inflammatory injection for her, but she was moving so well I decided to not inject her and stress her. I gave her a little scratch under the chin from you :) I think you are right about the 68s, gone for good. Would be odd to get up there again. Looking forward to 66s now :D :D YAY.
