Yippee!I tell you the scales are fickle! One day they love you and the next day they don't. We can't let them rule our life. I have rules to weigh by: 1. always weigh the very first thing in the morning 2. always wear the same thing(nothing)3. Stand in the exact same spot on the scale each time(I have traced around my feet in chalk on the scale so I will put my feet in the same spot every time). I know that sounds a little obsessive/compulsive.

Thanks everybody... you are spot on. I needed the encouragement about the scales this week. Diehard rules is what I do minus the chalk - but I think about the position of my feet, my head tilt, posture, etc. But it doesn't change. Reality bites.

Goals keep us moving forward when scales make us feel like giving up.

I would never tell you to shut up! Be quiet maybe and a virtual head slap, sure! 😜
