Major life update:

10/30/2014
BMI ------> 40.2
Weight ------> 286 (Dr. Office)
Note: this was my weight on my scales on October 1, 2014

08/19/2015
BMI ------> 30.5
Weight ------> 214.6 (my scales)

Dr. revised my goal from 211 pounds to 213 pounds but still suggests that I loose more to give myself a buffer.

He also said I should (for maintenance reasons) either start to introduce foods "I like" (less healthy) each day or take 1 day a week as a cheat day after I reach the new goal.

I'm not sure which I will do but, I still want my pizza real bad so that would suggest, to me, 1 day a week.

When special events (Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc..) happen on days other than my cheat day, I'll have to remind myself to not cheat on the cheat day. (I'm sure my conscience/wife will remind me)

All of my lab work came back normal and he said that when I hit 213.6 pounds I will be at high limit for what he considers normal weight.
No longer obese!!!

That will be the first time since I was in the Army back in the 1980's.

Here's to eating healthy.

Have a wonderful rest of the week.....
214.6 lb Lost so far: 59.4 lb.    Still to go: 3.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 7.0 lb a week

Scout terrific!!1 Maintenance can be hard to maintain. Keep eating healthy and exercising so you do not gain it back as most people do.

Wow, great job, you've come a long way in a relatively short time with fantastic results. As for pizza, it doesn't even have to be a bad thing especially if you make it yourself. Use a low carb tortilla or flatbread for the crust, makes a great thin crust pizza, and you control the toppings. I have it for dinner at least once a week.
