It is frustrating when you gain weight. I dont know if you know this, but u have probably hit a plateau. That means your body has adjusted to the exercise and diet program you are on. Try adding some different exercises and see if that helps. Just don't give up you can do it

Thanks alot Danni, I won't give up :) I didnt think I would hit a plateau so soon, but looking at my weight history graph it definitely is, so Im going to try some different exercises like you suggested, im sure it will only do me good. Have a great weekend :)

Don't forget to count in water weight, your body can fluctuate between 2 to 3 pounds daily just from water weight, keep up the good work, it does pay off, patience :)

Some times its good to increase your calories or have a treat day or rest from exercise. You may see an increase in weight but then your body resets to a higher calorie intake which means you start to loose again when you go back to being strict. It is frustrating when you are in the middle if a gain or patau but over the long term its just a blip. Keep positive and keep going. You are doing great. :-D

Restaurant food does that to me to - no matter how carefully I order. Makes you wonder what is really in that stuff? But that weight will be gone in a blink of an eye!

I find if I look at my new way of eating as a life change and not a "DIET" I am not so hard on myself when I as you said "SLIP UP." There will be days that I do better than others... and that is part of life. Put your chin up and get back on the wagon :)

Body weight goes up and down naturally. Don't worry about it until you see it trending in a direction you don't want.

The first 10/15 lbs is just water weight, after that is gone the real work begins.

That makes sense, ready to put in the work.

Just do the best you can each day and start fresh every morning! You can do it if the rest of us can do it!

Try to remember, it took a while to get where you are, it's going to take a while to get to where you want to be. Please don't be so hard on yourself. You are allowed to treat yourself on occasion. It will be too hard to maintain a lifelong commitment if you are too rigid. I always log all my food and make sure to leave room in my calorie count for a treat so I don't feel deprived.

As you tackle the challenge of losing 100 pounds, you are going to have times when it is easier and some when it seems harder. I know I did great for my first 10 pounds, slowed down for my next 10, then stalled out for a couple weeks before I saw the scale move down again. You just have to keep doing what you know is healthy for you--make good food choices, exercise when you can, drink a lot of water. Eventually, you will see the results shine through.

"Ah sorry! I use to love eating out-Now,I dread it when people ask me to meet them at restaurant. I know that I will gain weight after eating out, and I do! I like what {Pinkmoo} had to say. It makes me rethink my diet. I can get real bummed out when I gain wt, after eating out!"~Ann

The whole point of counting calories is knowing you're in a deficit regardless of scale weight. The only way you can "slip up" is by not hitting your calorie goals. Extra sodium causing weight gain matters not.

Remember to sleep a lot and get calcium. It is very important to rest.

If you ate out it's probably water retention from all the salt restaurants use.
