More progress! I've reintroduced some carbs (bread, rice) into my diet and find that I'm now more hungry. That's a bit annoying, I'll have to be careful. I have soccer today and tomorrow, and I ran yesterday. Running is becoming more habitual, which is good. I'm still terribly slow and inefficient, but I'm ok with that. :)
157.0 lb Lost so far: 21.0 lb.    Still to go: 17.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

If you are wondering why bread is making you hungry, read Wheat Belly.

It is so great you are losing consistently. Yes those wheat carbs in bread are like sugar and will increase the hunger and the cravings for me. I avoid it and Olof for carbs in vegetables or fruit.

Congratulations. The point of the running (at least for me) is not going fast, it is burning calories, building muscle, and how I feel afterward. I am just now getting to where I enjoy the actual run. With all that said, I do track my time, but more to see how my body is changing than as a challenge. If you do want to go faster, you should try increasing your stride some (lift your knees higher and kick your leg back harder). The change is stride will also work muscles harder and also different ones. I have been trying to change my stride, it is VERY difficult to do. Congratulations again on the awesome loss.

Congrats on your progress! I've decided processed sugar and simple carbs (such as white bread and pasta) are a thing of my past. As soon as I reintroduce even a little bit of them, the cravings start up. I'm not really missing those carbs either. The past month I feel better than I have in years! Maybe you're one of those (like me) who are carb sensitive.
