NM, you did not log your exercise yesterday, but I'm sure it was excessive. Thanks for all the hard work you did! Today is a rest day for you, no doubt.

Yes, it was a lot of work. 6 hours split between loading wood on a truck and then taking a nice leisurely drive of about 100 yards before unloading and stacking. Another guy and I did the loading and stacking. The other guys ran chainsaws to keep us working. No idea of the calories. I am slacking today. Could be dealing with DOMS tomorrow. We'll see.

Go easy on yourself the rest of the week. Even though you're ten pounds bulkier than when you returned in early August, it's still easy to catch an injury with work like that you're not accustomed to doing. You know, fruits aren't that evil because of the fiber, friend. It's the cake and processed sugar crapola that really packs it on. Eat all the fruit you want. Avoid the evil (dirty) carbs and you should be fine until moose season, or whatever. Me? I don't miss any of it <grin>.

I think I remember you recently writing about extra carbs in your diet...is that right? When I eat too many refined carbs like bread, grains, etc. I get swelling and joint pain. When I quit eating the crap and stay with protein, fruit, veggies, nuts, etc. I do much much better. Just a thought...

OH Oh - just saw the other part of your story! Chopping, stacking and hauling wood all day yesterday! No wonder you ache...and yes, you may have delayed onset muscle soreness!
