Good Morning Buddies!
My husband is finally able to come home today after being hospitalized since Easter Sunday. Lot's of work ahead to get his health back on track which in large part will take care of itself thru diet and exercise. I went back to work yesterday for a few hours which was pretty difficult. Appetite is not back to normal but I am eating 3 small meals and taking my meds. One message I have received loud and clear is that I have to take care of myself to be able to take care of all others around me. I am being very cautious however to not let my grief become a catalyst for over eating which is so common. Down another pound this morning which I would certainly rather.

Well done on another pound down Babs!! It is definitely a time to stay strong when life goes wrong around us, for most of us this is the time when our way of eating is thrown out of the window, but it is really a time we need to learn that our way of eating must stay mostly on track for us to succeed in the long run, as life will not pause for us. Thank you for showing us that even though you have gone through such hardships lately, you just need to be focused to continue taking care of yourself through it all.

Wow. You amaze me with all you are going through and you are still losing. I think we are often reminded how precious life is so we can begin to focus on our own health and in becoming "healthy." I pray that your husband recovers well and that both of you can live long healthy exuberant lives.

Babs, you have been through a lot over the past few weeks but I am very proud of how well you have done as far as your weight which is a good indicator of taking care of yourself even when it is very very hard to think about it. I pray life gets healthier and happier for you and your hubby in these coming months...TOWANDA!!!!!

Glad to hear you are back - you are correct in that you need to take care of yourself before you can take care of others. Glad to hear your husband is coming home - take care.

So glad you're able to find the time to fit us in again after everything that has happened - you've been missed! Definitely take care of yourself!! I know how hard caring for someone else can be, so try to take others up on their offers to help out with any little thing so you can have a moment to yourself, as well. Glad to see things are looking up!

Crazy month for you, love. I'm so glad your hubbie's back home, but remember to take care of yourself as well as him. =)

I'm so glad your hubby is home again. Hopefully that should make it easier to take care of yourself - and him. Going to work is progress, but I'm sure it's not easy right now. Congratulations on another pound lost, but I wish you didn't have to lose it this way. Please take care of yourself, Babs. I'm so glad you're back with us!
