Day 25, killed it in my 20 minute workout and got my heart rate up for 170 for a moment or two, average heart rate was 130, 6.2 METs and 10 minutes spent in peak/cardio zones. I don't know if I'll continue tracking this forever, but it's been an interesting experiment. Also ran around the park with Shasta because we are both ridiculous and it was fun. she's so bouncy when she's happy. glad we found one another and I'm glad she's found her voice. she bossed all the puppies around last night. Body normalizing, this is actually good. Muscle up, water up, blob down a tiny bit. More importantly, I feel much better. I survived, but my stomach was not fun since Sunday. Taught the puppy class last night, it was pretty good, and I have plans to go see a movie in a theater. It's insane how long that's been. We used to go on base, but even that's been weird because of the plague. Some idiot I know picked at a hangnail yesterday. Why do we feel compelled to do things like this? results were predictable. duh. asking for a friend. obvi. 'Mater. right? there's this movement called "prestoration" which is a cross between preservation and restoration of old cars (and other things) and I think this truck is a perfect example. I love it. The other side included a side mounted spare.

There's an old International Scout, that looks something like this truck, out at the wood trash heap up the highway from us. Glad to hear all is well and getting better with the dogs. 💕

I love internationals. I heard that VW is resurrecting a version of something like the scout as an EV. yes, I know that sounds crazy. which means it will be interesting. one of my favorite things about California and especially the desert is how many perfectly preserved things there are out there to be discovered. cars, trucks, the train museum... ghost towns. lots of adventures, but always take someone with me.

Here’s the thing, wifey, I can’t hold the dog, hold the camera, and run around with wild abandon all at the same time. And no one else wants to run around with us except the puppies.

I drove an old truck like that when I was in college. It was 40 yrs old, needed to be double clutched and drew the attention of some interesting folks.
