Glad you came back! Go to your profile and click on View Diet Calendar. Click on the days of the week and look at your foods for that day. Some days your Carbs are above 200 grams and Sugars are above 50 grams. To lose weight most people drink water instead of juice. Keep up the walking!

Welcome back. Just log all your food and that may offer a clue as to your blood pressure. For me, it's sodium that's my enemy!

Thank you all for the support, I have been drinking much more water lately. I add frozen fruit and sometimes cucumber to it, which helps me a lot. I had given up for quite some time, but the BP is a scary thing, so I have to get that under control.

To lower blood pressure: exercise, eat healthy, lose weight, quit smoking, limit alcohol, and cut salt. I read that Swiss Chard and low-fat or non-fat dairy foods can help control high blood pressure, but check the label to see if it is too high in sugar.

From all I have read on the net about natural ways to help blood pressure, CELERY juice has some amazing properties in it for this. If it is consumed every day it tends to take care of BP issues. Cool!
