MFD1979's Journal, 09 April 2014

It has been almost 1 year since I have visited this sight, and 2 years since I was committed to loosing weight with Atkins. You know how you hit that mark when you are dieting and you feel like "okay I look good I don't have to be so strict." Then 2 years later you are back where you started plus an extra 10 pounds? Is this my life? I work so hard at trying to loose weight and when I do I gain it all back... EVERY SINGLE TIME! Well maybe this time is different... and maybe its not but I'm starting today! Today is the day I get back on track... I can do it! I've done it before. Fat Secret used to help me so much and I hope it can again!
219.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 55.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

welcome back. you can do this !!! Think about how good you felt to lose the weight before and how you want to keep wearing those new clothes!! Ged rid of everything that's too big now and as you lose, get rid of those too. At Weight Watchers we call them the "fallback" clothes. If you don't have any, you can't fallback ! ;) good luck to you on your journey!

Welcome back! I concur that you CAN do this -- a long-term consistent 'righteous' (right food + exercise) course.

I did the same thing with Atkins. I myself can't live like that and am now just going with low cals. which doesn't eliminate anything just portion control. Ditto on the "Welcome Back!!! " 20lbs doesn't sound too bad and atleast you caught yourself before things REALLY got out of control. WTG on jumping back in :)

Welcome Back. I signed up for this website and it took 6 months for me to actually start actively trying to lost weight then another 3 months to actually use the site! We've all been there. I hope we can all help keep you motivated. Just calorie counting, portion control and activity can get you to where you want to be! Good job coming back and wanting to change. That is the hardest step!
