Need some lunch ideas PLEASE!
Tortilla wraps or pita bread that is whole grain or low carb, you can even use just a large lettuce leaf. Go for themes-greek, buffalo chicken, Curried Chicken Salad with Apples and Raisins, etc to "spice" things up.
How about a couple of cold slices of veggie/chicken pizza? You can make a healthier crust.
Pouches of (waterless) tuna. Some are even flavored. Open pouch, eat with plastic fork.
Tupperware of hummus with pita or crackers, veggies.
Boiled eggs.

It's a good thing you put the kids first. They need someone to do that. However, keeping yourself happy and healthy is important too!

Coconut oil-Atkins forum
Alexzwk, I've never taken the pills, so I wouldn't know about that. But I use the "oil" (really is a solid like vegetable shortening) in my morning coffee and the suggestions above to help boost my healthy fat consumption. I feel it jump starts my metabolism in the morning and helps my overall fat percentage for the day. I feel it takes fat to loose fat. Though I have to be careful because DH is actually allergic to coconut so I don't put it in anything communal. If you Google it you will get a lot of the benefits (skin, hair, etc)

Joehi-that's what I thought the first time I bought a jar. I really enjoy it with out the coconut flavor. Onedaat-that's the one I bought this time. I'll have to go back out buy a different one. Bbody1972-I find them all pricey!
