notjune1's Journal, 28 October 2013

I made my goal for October.
I now weight 1lb less than I did the day I got married.

It is about 9 1/2 weeks until the New Year, and I am seriously thinking I want a big goal....to get to ONE-derland (or pretty damn close)by the end of the year.
I will really have to bust my butt.
225.0 lb Lost so far: 58.0 lb.    Still to go: 90.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Thanks! Isnt it funny how one number less on that scale can re-motivate? or make you feel really terrific? I feel like I am fighting for every dang pound, and I question my sanity in even thinking I could lose that 25lbs before new Year's...but there's nothing wrong with trying, right?

I calculated it...it took me 3 months and 5 days to lose 39lbs-97 days since I weighed 263. When i look at it THAT way, it seems fast :)

75 days since I weighed 219. When you step back and look at it the way you said it does seem fast

Isn't it great to surpass your wedding weight? Mine was about 10 lbs. ago. I think 25 lbs. in about 9.5 weeks is a little much, but aim for it and be happy with whatever you hit. Think how much healthier THIS New Year's will be compared to last and how you're starting 2014 so much healthier than last year. Good luck!

It's about 2.7lbs a week....doable, but I have to really bump it up to do that. It's only for 9 weeks, and I've got the best motivation in the world...if I can hit 200 by Dec 31st, I got my DH to agree that we will not go to my in-laws for New Years Eve. So, I will try my damnedest to get to that lol. Either way, I win. At 2lbs a week, I will be down to 207.

Congratulations on the milestone!! I just calculated my loss, and I have lost 52.4 pounds in 4 months and 7 days. I found a nifty little online calculator. So, I could also say I lost it in 18 weeks and 3 days or 129 days! It makes you look at it a little differently!! It seems like it was a long time ago, but to look at it in that time frame it does seem fast!! But it wasn't that fast. I think that is a good goal for you too, and it is a win win situation!! Keep it up!!
