So, it turns out that simply lowering my goal doesn't cause me to lose weight. Weird! ;-)

Seriously, I have gone back to a phase 2 diet, which is good. Not much change on the scale, but I'm feeling better about being back on track. I know the last few pounds will be slow going, but I'm hoping to post a loss next week. In the mean time, I'll keep with the program and get back to my excersing! Thanks for all the good wishes.

It started snowing here yesterday and is still going. This winter has been just crazy-- two days ago my girls and I had a picnic in the yard b/c it was over 50 degrees. Today it is a wintery wonderland. Ack! Makes it hard to get motivated to go outside.
128.0 lb Lost so far: 42.0 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I know what you mean! I lowered my goal weight too but haven't quite gotten back to how I was doing before. Still having too many splurges but I am quickly seeing how easy it is to slip back into old habits. Gotta get back to it for real!

Hey Herbie...maybe you and I should try to challenge and motivate each other. We lost close to the same weight, are at the same weight and have about the same we think we can lose! I think once you hit your goal, it takes a bit more to stay below it and to keep yourself constantly thinking about it. Email me my dear pal, let's see if we can come up with a type of buddy challenge. I watched YOU do it! You helped me to believe that I could do it too. I would love to go in on a personal challenge with you. You inspire me! Whatever you decide and whatever you do, you WILL succeed! Go get 'em Herbie!

Herbue, you have done and are still doing tremendously. It could be that you have obtained your goal. The hard part is maintaining it. Have you been keeping up with your food journal? I find myself slipping also. I now allow myself chocolate a little too often. Watching you gives motivation to keep on track.
