The gummy bear diet cleanse is NOT a joke. :( I was fine yesterday, I stopped at 10. Today I ate more than that while not paying attention.

HCB they use a maltitol syrup. It's basically the same thing they sweeten Atkins Bars and Russel Stover candies with. Sugar alcohols are no joke.

Oh dear, sugar alcohol has some very untoward side effects. Lesson learned the hard way but you won't forget it! LOL!

They will help teach "portion control"! When the sugar alcohols came out, I learned to eat small amounts of candy and that was big for me!

There were "only" about 20 left in the bag. I've eaten them before and have been alright. :( Never read a book with an open bag of sugar free gummies. This is the only sugar alcohol I have problems with.

When I first started low-carb I had severe IBS-like issues. I figured it was just that dreaded, "Atkins Flu" I had read about. But then it persisted. I did a lot of reading and started eliminating things from my diet. Sugar alcohols were the first to go, the hot peppers I was eating tons of, and pickled and fermented foods like sauerkraut, kimchi, stuff like that. I have't had any issues since dropping all those foods.
