I'm OK with it, really, I am.

When I am not logging, I estimate that I am consuming around 1500 - 1800 calories daily.

I guess the only way to be sure it to log. (uuugh) I don't want to be stuck logging foods forever.

Finding my way. One day I will eat 95% real unprocessed foods and 5% junk and I will be on my way. Ok, one day, where are you?

The scale will be down tomorrow. I hit 215.4 yesterday and today is 213.2

Hi Ches, I'm working hard to cut our all the junk in my diet and it is hard! I've done pretty good though and I have found that the more strict I am, the more my hunger is sated (in the long term). I hope too, that I can find a way of eating that allows me to not log, but I won't try to go without until I've reached my goal weight. If we go back to eating the way we did before we lost weight, then the whole thing was pointless. It's great to see you are working to figure out what you need to keep it off.

But I don’t think about the future much 😅 most of the time I simply concentrate on “today”

Logging is really a habit for me now - just became a part of the routine. Plus I use the information for meal planning so since I am already on here...I just plug it in.

If i don't obsess and plan out my food I gain. Then again it costs more of my budget $ to cheat... in the long run compared to the boost one gets from butter it is really cheaper in the long run than processed foods.

Coach, And I'm glad your DO N OK with it ...You own it !!!

I have to log my food because I feel like the days I don’t log I let things be forgotten. My rule has been lately “ it doesn’t go into my mouth until I log it “ good luck with your journey 💙

I eat nothing but unprocessed and it's STILL a struggle. Menopause and 2 years of orthopedic issues has kicked my butt! But I'm stronger now and I can walk, so everything is improving.

I think that's all of us here sweetie..if we only walked the walk more...and we all know me.. I'm very verbose... talk.. talk.. talk...lol your aces in my book sir;)

It does seem like logging helps me stay true to the plan. I don't usually log things like "Girl Scout cookies" or "ben and jerry's ice cream" because I know that day is shot. So any days in my calendar where there is no food posted, its because I didn't want to figure out how badly I blew it, it was enough to know that I'd messed up. I don't even know if that makes sense to me, no that I've read it!

I'll keep logging and adjusting and keep it going. I can and will do better. My FS family has my back. Off to sleep I go. Thanks for your patience with me.

It’s a journey I’ve been taking my whole life, Ches. Journaling for me makes me feel like I am more accountable. Hang in there.

your right you will be okay you will overcome and conquer, i don't always log but want to get in the habit .

@fritzy22 those are the days I log the most viciously! LOL because then I look at the handy feature that FS has called the Diet Calendar and I try to keep my RDI for THE MONTH at or slightly below my RDI. If it’s not, I probably won’t lose. So if I’m up at 150% of my RDI for a day or two then I may have a few days at 70 or 80 to balance it out throughout the month. Right now I’m at about 101% or so, but there are still a few days left! LOL 🙋🏻
