Made a paleo meal last night that was called slow cooker Hawaiian beef. I don't eat beef that often so I don't know much about the different cuts. It called for beef loin and I didn't see that in the store so I bought another and it was sooo fatty. What is a relatively healthy cut of beef? That doesn't cost a million dollars, lol.

Beef tenderloin is delicious, but expensive. I usually buy eyeround roasts, petite sirloin or London broil. All three are lean cuts of beef and less pricy than tenderloin.

Eye of round is yummy and decent price. Not bad in a crockpot

I buy sirloin,it is so tender you can use it to make anything. And it can stretch to make more than just one meal.

Flank or skirt steak, just don’t overlook. You can also do a cheaper cut and take the fat from the top.
