day OFF! legs have been screaming at me since saturday ... figure it's time to not go to the gym. one day ... can't hurt ... but i feel a little guilty.
also knew that weight loss was too good to be true ... up over a pound or so ... but that happens a bit when i eat salty foods and/or my body is in repair, or i have too much cake on mother's day and then eat arby's last night (doh!).
see where i am at on Sunday, being a matter of pride and me bruising my own ego ... needless to say, won't weigh in until i am back at the weight i recently recorded ... good day to all!

A day off is good! Recovery is part of training, your body needs it. I know the guilty feeling though... This one pound gained is not here to stay, it's not like you eat cake or Arby' everyday right? Have a great day!

I agree - a day off is so important! But I also understand feeling guilty about it. You're doing great, even with the salty-pound your body's holding onto :)

thank you kind people ... you two are very supportive. the funny thing is that you bet in my 20's i ate arby's, mcD's, chinese takeout every night ... woke up around 29, was nearly 190 pounds!
so the combo guilt of fast food and no workout is real ... but i do need to let it go. my quads are still a little sore ... so yes, rest is best.
like i said, we shall see if this is salt or repair come Sunday ... cheers, girls, thank you for your support!
