I was on Fatsecret before, met wonderful people and enjoyed the features like food diary and journal.
My weight dropped to 112 lbs, that was my lowest. It felt great to be that light, however I was underweight and it was not sustainable. The real deal is to be strong and healthy, not to focus on the scale! After 2 years I left Fatsecret to stop counting calories and carbs etc... I needed to trust myself.
I started lifting heavy stuff, gained some weight but stayed at the same dress size. Last spring I did my first competition ever at the Crossfit Games Open.
Now I'm back, to use the food journal as a tool to support my strenght training plan. I feed myself for performance.
What matters is how much I can squat or clean not how much I weigh!
Fast forward a year and half later... had to give up weightlift, my wrists did not take it. I had to choose between my job and my hobby. Went through major changes in my life, personal and professional. I am now an amateur boxer, in lightweight class. Back on the scale, I have to make weight and if needed I have to cut weight within days or hours.
