People will always have comments. I especially love the “Girl, be careful not to lose too much weight..you’re looking a bit thin.” Meanwhile, they don’t understand my struggle and the fact that I’m trying to gain weight. Yet they eat so unhealthy and have never worked out. We do this for us! Who cares what they think.

When I was 240lbs and ate only a nutrigrain bar and some salad last year people gave me weird stares, at school. Needless to say all they want to do is talk to me now. to be honest, people are kind of cruel. Since I've been a normal range of weight people have been treating me a lot better, which is.. sad really? Do it for you, not for others, but if someone didn't stick with you while you were big, they're not really a good person tbh, along your journey but watch out for that.

It's truly amazing what some people will say to another person who is working to improve themselves. Usually the talkers are NOT trying to improve.

I use to be the topic of all our lunches at work.. Constant questions / comments "How can you eat as little as you do but stay as big as you do."... I stopped listening to them, realized part of my weight was stress from them. Honestly, before I stopped listening it almost cost me my life. I had lost weight and instead of continuing to work on weight loss and firming up through exercise, I had a tummy tuck so they could see the progress I had made. Almost cost my life with blood clots in both lungs. AND I gained back more than I lost because of diet changes I had to make due to being on Coumadin.
Moral of the story, who cares what they say or think! You come first. Keep up the good work.

If it's working for you, then who cares what others say. I had no support when I started on my diet. I had to do it all on my own which is always hard but when you start seeing results you don't care what others are saying, or eating for that matter. Do you, stay strong and ignore the bad comments/people around you.

If you feel satisfied, healthy, and energized that is all that matters.

I find that oatmeal satisfies for a long time, until 1pm for me, but i do have to only eat 1/2 cup a day, because of all the carbs.

If you are satisfied and not getting overly hungry later in the day then sounds like it's working for you. Some of us who are insulin resistant would be experiencing hunger later due to the carbs involved.

Good for you! I also eat oatmeal but with apples and raisins with an orange each morning. It works for me because I started at 193 pounds and now I'm at 186.2 this morning! Yay!
