Were you disappointed by Italian pizza? The one I had in Rome was thin, soft and oily. Yuk!

Wonderful to come home and not feel guilty. You said you ate what you wanted but I'll bet that what you wanted was tempered by how you have learned the right way to eat. You've done a super job.

Not a bad gain at all I am sure you will get it right back off. I am sure you did a lot of walking that is probably why you didn't gain more.

Kahlstorf - I wasn't disappointed by the pizza, because I knew what to expect. I had heard it was different than typical American pizza.
NanaKP - absolutely! I do actually like eating healthy, and in smaller portions. So, while it was a splurge, it wasn't overkill.
mysteryshopgirl - yes, tons of walking! We also hiked up Vesuvius. That definitely helped.

I'm in Forth Worth, so Harvey didn't reach up here. I grew up in the Woodlands area, and still have family there. They evacuated up here.
