Sherillynn's Journal, 01 March 2017

We got another couple inches of the white stuff overnight. I'm not gonna lie. I don't like it one bit.

Fell apart on the eating the last few days. I am under my calories but eating crap! I need to knock it off now before I fall back into old habits.

Some days I really struggle with salt followed by sugar. It is rarely one or the other. I want them both!

Today, the aquatics vet is coming out to take a look at the shrimp and fish. Crossing my fingers that it goes well.

I've decided that this year for Easter, I am spending it with my family. Period. Other people that I live with can do whatever they want but I am celebrating both because I want to and because I need to. It is no longer negotiable.

Have a great day. The week is half over! Blessings.

That sugar-then-salt merry-go-round is something a lot of people experience. Maybe what the body is really seeking is sugar from fruit with its potassium to combat the sodium.

Good for you on your Easter decision. Can you concentrate on lowering either salt or sugar and then do the other as opposed to doing them both at the same time?

Eating fruit is certainly a good option! But those dang Hershey kisses are calling me. I did empty and throw out the rest of the Cheetos though. I am doing well weight wise but the empty calories need to stop.
