A few notes on my weight loss. I've lost over 10 lbs in a month now. Believe it or not, I'm actually trying to slow it down a tad so that I don't get flabby skin and such. I'm down 3 belt holes, each an inch apart. Which means 3 inches from my waistline. I can tell where I'm burning fat because the general area like my love handles sort of itch. Didn't realize you could actually feel it happening. I've decided that a diet in itself doesn't work. Forget the word diet. You have to decide on a lifestyle that you can live with. I know I can live with this LCHF/KETO lifestyle. I do miss my breads and pasta, but I'm finding good solutions to those also. The big thing is that I've lost any cravings and I'm not constantly hungry. I actually go past meals now and forget to eat since I'm not hungry. If your body is burning its own fat, you don't feel hungry. That's how this works.

Great job! I started the same lifestyle change on July 2nd and I've lost almost 13 1/2 lbs. A few blips here and there but usually all down. Like you, my cravings are gone, and yes I've missed a few meals. I was beginning to think I'd never be able to lose weight but the LCHF/KETO is really beginning to change my life. New pant size any day now!

Yes, energy! I would always try to find a chair while I'm talking to someone at work, but now, I don't even realize I've been standing for a long time. I have tons more energy than just a month ago. And hunger, I think think I've eaten today and it is almost 3pm. I did eat half a meatza last night though.

Seems kinda weird for it to itch. Maybe I'm crazy. I don't know.

Nice work, keto gets easier the longer you do it.

Carbs are less than 20 shouldn't have any sugar issues.

Yes, sir. You've got the program down. Keep an eye on electrolytes, and add salt.

Everyone says add salt. Why is that? I have cut my BP meds in half which is why I've always been told to avoid salt. I am gradually re-introducing salt back into my diet.

Electrolytes would be something I need to look out for. I was hospitalized when in the military for getting dehydrated for 3 days when I was in the desert. I do not do well in heat. I don't sweat enough.

When my electrolytes are off from fasting, I know it. I get faint and nauseated. I drink water or something and add salts to it. - A product called SaltStick that I learned about here from Phil. It perks me right up!

Keto is naturally diuretic, and leeches salt from the kidneys. Get some Himalayan Pink Salt, and add it to everything. It has loads of trace minerals. BP will naturally equalize with keto, as hormones stabilize. Drink to thirst, but don't force water. It will take electrolytes out of your system. It's also good to supplement Magnesium Malate, as that's a mineral that is hard to get on LCHF.

Thanks! Actually I made a low carb Margarita last night with Himalayan Pink Salt! It was good. 100% Agave Tequilla, Lime juice, and in place of Triplesec I used a little orange extract. I also recently started taking a magnesium powder to get my magnesium. It is important for absorption of other minerals and vitamins.
