Finished my water fast this morning. 82 hr and 32 minutes. Enjoying my MCT coffee now and my awesome chef hubby made stock for me to drink today.

This is my first water fast and I am planning to do it once a month for the health benefits as well as the weight loss. I am expecting a little bounce back on the scale but I'm not terribly concerned. I will do my best to come off of this slowly. Stock, soup, and home grown vegetables for today and a bit of tomorrow. Not going to consume my full rdi until Wednesday.

I've got to admit, I am looking forward to real food. We are planning a cheat date for June 6th, baseball game and a nice dinner. It's good to plan out your indulgences. :)

Congrats on the fast! 82 hours is pretty awesome... I've been debating on trying to build up to that, but for some reason it just seems so intimidating. I think it's a mental thing, lol! Did you feel good during the entire thing? Or did you ever get dizzy or weak spells? Just curious... Wondering what to expect if I do try it 🙂 I think it was your hubby that gave me the bone broth advice... I'm going to the butcher today to get the bones, so excited to try it!

Little sister, I am so proud of you. And you really don't need to worry about slow recovery. 4 days is not long enough to stop your digestive system. You can east as normal. So, let me guess. It was not as bad as you thought it would be was it? And im betting day 3 was the tough one. Am I right? Or close to it?

Knuckles, love ya buddy but I have to disagree with you here. You can cramp up pretty good on anything beyond 24 hrs....really not good, especially for a first extended fast experience. Not to mention if you go slower (whats the hurry??) you stand a better chance of holding down the weight! Been there, done that :) YOU should try it...Your body would probably thank you :) Your such an encouragement here, I hope this encourages you to accept the challenge! :) Kpp...WAY TO GO!!! I just came of 88 = hrs myself but I am keeping a cleanse going, it's going well. Friday starts a transition for me...looking foreword to it :) :)
