Missychick21's Journal, 22 September 2011

Been up since 5 with both kids puking all of a sudden. I'm not sure what the cause is but it is not fun. Finally got around to eating breakfast and made a MIM and put cream cheese on it. Better than I expected to be honest :)

Both kids at the same time may be easier than on getting it after the other. At least it will all be over sooner. Sorry they are sick.

All over my bed though makes me not so happy :( Also trying to keep up with which one is doing it next...

So many things going around - hope you don't catch it (because someone has to take care of kids).

Exactly, there is no one else to do it for me :(

Oh Missy, I can relate! I remember that happening to me with both my kids vomiting on the floor, in the bed, and everything coming out both ends! Horrible! And I had the same flu at the same time. I'll pray for you that this passes quickly and you don't get sick! In the meantime, I found it helps to have a large plastic bowl in the bed with them in case they're still nauseated and they can't make it to the toilet to throw up in time. God bless you...

My 4 year old isn't really sure about puking in the toilet and my son is only 1 so no toilet puking for him :( I basically end up cleaning messes

A bucket or large bowl to carry around with them does help, of course you do get the occasional missed vomit but at least then they have something beside them... try some flat ginerale to calm their stomach. poor babies.

Luckily it has seemed to calm down for a while, I am hoping it lasts. I hate when my babies are sick.

I didn't even get dressed today I am sooo tired :( Probably going to just have the baby sleep in my room tonight. At least I haven't gone off track but I am sticking to easy stuff. Too tired for big preparations.

I did easy last night for dinner, just two hot dogs and frozen veggies. It's ok to do quick and easy as long as it's not high carb! Tomorrow will be better.

I haven't found no carb hot dogs but I did find some with only 1 carb...

The oscar mayer hot dogs without nitrates are 1 carb each. And since they are nitrate free I don't feel so bad having them once in awhile. Some days it's worth it to have an easy meal, other days, if I've eaten more carbs, it's not. I have also not found any 0 carb hot dogs, not sure they exist. I haven't really found any huge problem myself if I eat 22 carbs instead of 20.

Icy, I rarely find myself even hitting 20 most days. I am definitely a work in progress still. BHA, (I can't remember your name sorry) I am really hoping it's only a 24 hour flu or something they ate or whatever. I am trying my best to not get sick that's for sure.

sorry to hear that your little ones are sick :( it does seem to be the time of year for it! hopefully you won't get it next!

Take good care of yourself, Missy...Mommy can't afford to get sick. I know that it is hard to be on your own with little ones. Hopefully, this will be a 24 hour something and things will be back to normal in a day or so. I will say a little prayer that things improve quickly. Hug...;)

Well My 4 year old seems to be doing better but my one year old puked again this morning and has major issues with the other end. I apparently didn't get lucky enough to avoid getting sick though I haven't thrown up I too am having issues with the other end. I feel icky and tried to stay in bed most of the morning, I don't want to eat at all :( I guess it's broths and water for me today...
